ABOUT NATALIA
With over eight years of clinical experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a diverse range of skills to my work as a therapist, coach, and educator. My professional journey has taken me through various settings, including nonprofit community mental health organizations, private practice, and administrative roles. These experiences have allowed me to work with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds, and has given me the opportunity to assist clients in overcoming a wide variety of issues and challenges.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Business from Baldwin Wallace University, where I also competed as a member of the women’s basketball team. I later earned my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Akron, building a strong foundation in systems theory, family dynamics, and evidence-based therapeutic practices. As a dually licensed professional in both Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I take an eclectic and person centered approach to therapy by integrating a variety of therapeutic frameworks to create tailored, holistic solutions for each individual’s unique needs. Currently, I am pursuing additional specialized training and certification in sex therapy to further support clients navigating intimacy and sexually-related issues, as well as specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to better treat those suffering from trauma. I believe in fostering a non-judgmental, supportive space where clients can feel empowered to take the courageous steps toward personal and relational transformation.
